Coach Pfeiffer was born in Pasadena, California and moved to Monument, Colorado where he attended Lewis-Palmer High School. While at LP, Coach played both organized and club sports, including football and basketball. He then attended Colorado State University in Fort Collins where he earned a degree in Secondary Education with an emphasis in English Education and an endorsement in Speech Communication. While at college, he began coaching football with the City of Fort Collins Youth and Recreation. Coach Pfeiffer teaches English at Ponderosa and is advisor to their newspaper program.  Coach Pfeiffer has been with the football program for more than 7 years.

Coach Pfeiffer received his first opportunity to teach and coach at Peyton Jr./Sr. High School in Peyton, Colorado. There, he coached the Defensive Line, Linebackers, Secondary and called plays on game day for the Panthers. They won the Black Forest Championship in 2012.

He is married to his wonderful wife Angela. Together, they have two sons, Hudson and Holden.
