We had a very productive bye week- having that time off then getting back on practice field reminded us all how much we truly enjoy coaching this group – looking forward to preparing like a champion and seeing how far we can go in the playoffs.
Any players who are no longer practicing- please return your equipment IMMEDIATELY after school on THURSDAY Nov 9th. This is for Freshman and JV players who are not practicing. It is very frustrating if we have to chase kids down to return equipment, and in fact hurts our ability to get our equipment reconditioned. Please have your game uniforms WASHED AND ON A HANGER and all equipment turned in. Varsity and those still practicing will have their date later.
We will be playing the winner of Centaurus/Windsor at 6 PM on Friday at Echo Park- I am pretty sure it will be Windsor. They are a quality program with an 8-2 regular season record and league title. It will take our best effort.
Fan Vu, a streaming company, is most likely going to be broadcasting our game. If anyone would like to be a sponsor, it is $500 and you will get a ton of advertising during the game and on their social media channels. It is a high quality production that our out of town mustang fans will surely appreciate. Let me know if you are interested and I can link you up with Marty Cesario who will walk you through it all.
Finally, if we win, we will be going to Montrose and Playing SAT Nov 18th at 1 PM. We would ride up with parents, and QB Club is already working on rooms for Friday night. More details to come if we take care of business Friday night.
