Hello Mustang Football Family:

While the result was surely what we wanted Friday night, our staff was more pleased with our level of execution. Our consistent message is always to “focus on us and play beyond the scoreboard” and our boys did a much better job of all the little things that lead to success on game night. We still have room for improvement and are going to relentlessly work to keep getting better and be playing our best brand of football come November. This week we take on Chaparral on Thursday night and are fired up for a good rivalry game that will be a lot of fun to compete in. I am confident in our team’s ability to rise to the occasion and come out victorious.

Our JV competed very hard vs a significant opponent in Fountain Fort Carson and lost a close game. Their coach messaged me how impressed he was with how our boys competed.

Our Freshman moved to 4-0 and beat Falcon 39-6.

If you purchased a personal helmet and have not made payment yet with Tyler Balterras at Riddell, please email him at trbaltierras@riddell.com or call him at 720-231-2684. I was asked to take care of the outstanding invoices and we do need to stay in good standing with Riddell, as they are our supplier for helmets, reconditioning, and much of our field equipment.
