1. Team Booster Dues are now available to pay- it is $250 per player (freshmen went up $50 and we just ordered and paid for the Guardian Caps instead of having your order on your own). Some incoming freshmen already paid at the Freshman Booster Dues link ( which has since closed), so if you have , do NOT pay again.

2.  Fall Sports Registration is open- If your player is not registered by August 9th, he will not be able to participate when official CHSAA practice starts on August 12th (and then is in jeopardy of not being able to participate in our scrimmage on 8/22 due to CHSAA rules on practices prior to scrimmage).  if they have a physical that will expire during the season, just upload that one when you register, and when he gets a new one, he can bring to athletics during the season and they will update it for him. Please take care of that here

3. Please make every effort to attend our nutrition seminar on THURSDAY JULY 18th from 6-730 PM in the PHS commons. It is directly aimed to make our players better- please rsvp “Wellness” to 303-635-6221.  We would like every player and a parent to attend, if possible.

4. If you need a travel bag, please email jcohen@dcsdk12.org and bring in a check to Coach Cohen for $60 made out to “Ponderosa QB Club” -I will be submitting another order on July 26th. If your player previously ordered one, and has not picked it up, they are in my office.

5. Last year, we took over concessions and made 11K for our program. We ask all NON Varsity families to sign up for one shift. We only took our home side for home games, and the away side for the Chap game week 5. This is a “pay it forward” type deal and when your player is on varsity, underclassmen will be doing the same. We will have a sign up sheet at our Kickoff event on 8/17. Report time is ( I believe ) 2 hours before game time. Players can work, but we need several adults at each shift.

6. Although Official chsaa practice begins August 12th, we will be having practice after school (all levels) August 7, 8 and 9th. Varsity may have some morning activities those dates as well. 

7. SAT August 10th, all members of the program will come to Ponderosa HS at 1130 AM, enter emails for our snap raise, have lunch, then we are heading overnight to Larkspur for a one night retreat (at the Ponderosa campground) – more details coming (waivers and what to bring), but I have seen the agenda and I know our entire program will bond as a team and have a blast doing it at this event. They will be leaving larkspur  Sunday August 11th at 12:30. 

If there are ever any financial issues, please reach out to ponderosaqbclub18@gmail.com and it will be taken care of through our sponsorships. No player will ever be turned away for financial reasons.

We are fired up to finish up what has been a very effective summer, and are looking forward to our Freshman Team Camp starting July 15th.
