I have a lot of updates on things that I know have been hot buttons below. Please look through this info and let me know what questions you might have.
Team store gear
I realize the Team store order deliveries have been less than ideal. The vendor shipped our orders to the school (even though they were told not to) and with no one in the building the shipment was returned to the vendor and then FedEx lost one of the boxes in the second shipment. If you did not get any/all of the items you ordered please reach out to coach Cohen (jaron.cohen@dcsdk12.org) and let him know what is missing. The Vendor will put together a rush order and get it to us ASAP. If you ordered a girdle, those are being overnighted and will be available for Monday’s practice. I know none of you like this but we will get it all figured out ASAP.
Kick Off Breakfast
On August 14th we are going to have our annual kick off meeting to introduce the coaches, players, pay our season dues (if you haven’t already), sign up for volunteer positions, etc. This will be a team effort to put this on and we have created the following sign up sheet for everyone to help out in providing food, sides, drinks, etc for that event. This breakfast will run from 10:30 -12:30 after practice that morning

Corporate Sponsors
If you are working on any corporate sponsors as a way to augment your booster club dues we will need their commitment and checks by August 18th at the latest so we can get the sponsor’s collateral created in time for the first game. Any questions on corporate sponsors should go to Lily Sanchez (Lilysmusic22@gmail.com)
Weather Changes
A note went out to the players about this earlier this afternoon but tomorrow’s practice for JV and Varsity has been moved to tomorrow morning from 6:30 – 8:15 am . This practice will be full pads. The Freshmen will still practice at their normal time of 9:30-11 am. For those that are interested, I will still be at the practice field at 10:30 to answer any freshmen parent questions that you might have.
