Welcome to the beginning of the 2021 Season. We are going to change things up a bit this fall to try and make the presentation of information a bit easier to digest.  These updates will come out at least once a week with major updates and any pertinent info about the previous week and the upcoming week ahead.  As with this message, we will be posting these on our new website instead of in the body of an email and any past posts will be kept in an archive to allow folks to go back and catch up on things. 

Kick off Meeting

This Saturday morning will be our annual Kick off meeting at Ponderosa in the Commons from 10:30-noon.  This is the meeting we hold every year to introduce the coaching staff, players and the overall philosophy for the program.  It is also the event where the Booster Club will be available to answer any questions that you may have.  We will also be accepting payments for Booster Club fees, senior banners, final Pondo Card payments that are still due and any other fees that might need to be taken care of prior to the season starting. 

To this point, be on the look out for an Invoice in your inbox as a heads up on what is owed for each family. If you want to get a head start on this please visit our Cheddar Up page to take care of these payments early.  In fact if you could do that is would be a huge help to us. It will streamline the process on Saturday morning quite a bit. We will have folks set up at various tables early on Saturday to help anyone out with this process that needs it starting at 9:30 am. When you arrive at School, please enter the Commons area through the outdoor patio area – do not go in the front door or the small gym doors. Once all of your fees are confirmed to have been paid we will have 2 season passes for you that will give you access to each home game. We also have a few additional season passes that will be available for purchase for friends or family members. These will only be available to families that have paid all of their dues

Thanks to everyone that has signed up to be part of the team that will run the Kick Off meeting. If you signed up to bring food please have it to the school by 10 am at the latest and if you signed up to bring something to drink please have it in a cooler with ice it at all possible. We will let the players go through the line at 10:30 and then everyone else can follow after that. We will start our presentation near the top of the hour.

Housekeeping

Gear Bags – For those that have asked, we have opened up the availability to order gear bags again. This window will only be open through 8/20 and then won’t be open again until next year. They can be ordered through this link: Gear Bag

New Team Website – We have developed a brand new website that we are transitioning to this season that will be the backbone of our information. If you ever need anything, our hope is that you will be able to find it here. We will touch on a few of the highlights and things we want you to be aware of but feel free to look through it prior to the meeting. www.pondofootball.com
